Thank you for giving your side of the story. I felt it was too lopsided for a longtime. I do miss the nursery in Kingston, and being able to visit the gardens regularly, but never understood the hatred that was generated and fueled by certain hort leaders in the community. Especially those that want to turn Heronswood into a teaching community. If that is what they are going to teach then I don't want a part in supporting such leadership. Reading a young man's blog and his hatred was disconcerting, as well as the misinformation that is out in the public. You only have to mention Heronswood and it rears its ugly head. Is this the legacy our horticulture leaders are handing us and the community appears to accept without question?

I hope it heals over soon, as I am tired of hearing about it. I believe the leaders in the Northwest should be encouraging healing and treating others with respect. They owe all of us an apology. I am ashamed of them, and hope that those of us who believe they carried it too far, will raise voices louder in protest.
