Yep, in my world, food plants are where it's at, so to speak. With the supposed economic "lack of"
mentality, some people are awakening to being creative forces in growing their own foods. Amazing, isn't it, that God gives us our struggles, so that we might learn what we came here to do? If it were not for our challenges, I believe we are just that lazy that we would not learn how to survive well, with the potential we have been given..."men & women ARE that they MIGHT have joy." As with most good things in life, making the right choice is always right and brings us happiness. What is right is right, even if no one is doing it. What is wrong is wrong, even if everyone is doing it. That we might appreciate who we really are and what we really are supposed to eat is one of my hopes for us and our planet. Amen.

Dear Jim, Good luck, my friend. Portion control is key, as is the habit of drinking lots of water, as well as upper and lower body exercise. Thanks

Thank you for this article. I am 65 and overweight. Your comments inspire me to eat well tonight. And I plan to continue to eat better from now on. This intention had been in my mind for some time, and what you wrote tipped the scales. Again, thanks.

Very interesting post! I also want to thank you for sponsoring the Garden Conservancy. I lead the Raleigh, NC area Open Days tour, also benefiting the JC Raulston Arboretum. Our tour is the weekend before the Garden Writers Association comes to Raleigh for our annual conference. Come on down and I'll give you a personal tour!
