Wow! Such an enlightening and thorough synopsis on photosynthesis! Really enjoyed reading that overview. As I turn my face to the sun, working in my garden, I'll be keeping those processes in mind with a newfound appreciation. Thanks again for sharing!

How right you are about how dependent life is on a this constant energy supply. Everything we see is actually composed of energy. We are a product of light. This light has a source. It didn't just happen. The interdependency on energy that we see all around us had a beginning. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The first day of creation was light. This was before the sun and stars were created and before the moon reflected its light upon the earth at night. This light was and is much bigger than that. Plants grew and flourished in this light even before the sun and its solar rays ever touched the earth. The One who purposed this is the One who holds all things together. His plan in it all is a wondrous one and is still in the full process of its fulfillment. His intention has been single through all of this. It is to experience Him. It is to know a oneness with Him. It is to discover pure joy in knowing His love. It is to experience freedom, a freedom found in forgiveness through the greatest expression of His love, the sacrifice of his only Son for any and all who would receive His gift. Is it any wonder that He refers to His Son as the true light that has entered the world? His love is so great, being exhibited in the incredible beauty and intricacy of His creation. His love is ours for the choosing. We never need take our last breath without Him. His wonders can continue to be ours for eternity as we dwell in His unending love. With love!
