Dear James, To my wife’s detriment, I am sadly ignorant of roses. My first choice would have been to consult the Burpee catalog, but Burpee does not sell roses. Search on the web for climbing roses; this should give you information on what’s available. Then, consult a local garden store. Also, county ag agents often have all sorts of information that you might not expect; try them. Good luck in your search.

This was a highly informative literary composition presented in a manner that kept my attention and interest. It provided me with details of life cycles in moths and various methods to control any infestation. Always enjoy and look forward to reading your web log.

Dear Karlie, I couldn’t agree more. With the advent of travel from Asia to the USA in less than a day, the ability of pests and pathogens to spread around the world quickly and easily has increased immeasurably. Entering by car, say, California or any other state with relatively stringent quarantine regulations at a busy or remote station, you quickly realize the difficulty of enforcing these regulations. As citizens and gardeners, it’s incumbent on us all to be aware noxious pests and plants and staunch their spread whenever possible.
