Kingston Ramble, Part II

My friend and colleague, Hugh Glass, took these photographs last month, as well as those in the first Ramble post. For the shutter bugs among us, he used a Casio Exilim EX-Z700.

We don’t sell everything that we grow in Kingston, due either to adaptation in the rest of the US or to common availability. We specialize in “unusually great plants”, with an emphasis on “unusual”, although it’s used as an adverb. Sorry grammarians! Poetic license. We “hot linked” those items we do sell. An asterisk is next to cultivars we plan to sell in the coming new catalogue due late fall of this year.

However, the only purpose of these two posts is to give you a partial glimpse of the ‘wood, as we call our northwest research and display garden.

We’ve had a wonderful time rambling here with you, and look forward to seeing you at the Kingston Opens in 2011.

Meanwhile, take a look at part of our sculpture collection at Fordhook Farm here.

Should it be all right if I use this as long I personal reference your blog post or build a back-link to the posting I procured the snip from? If not I recognize and could not do it without having your acceptance . I have book marked the article to twitter in addition to flickr accounts for reference. Anyway appreciate it either way!
